In 2001 Cabinet bought a book called 'How To Be A Successful DJ' and became mesmorised by the glamour and high finance of the superclubs. Cabinet's Music For Parties album is a sleek yet energetic tour of 2003 jet set discotheques, featuring remixes by fasionable artists of the day.
Money's experience of disk jockeying was largely limited to attracting passers-by to large car parks on the outskirts of industrial conurbations. A man who believed that setting random objects alight somehow compensated for the poor sound quality of his stage show. On Money's mix album 'Music To Gun Men Down Like Dogs By' his approach was to list his favourite hard rock, pop and electro songs from throughout the ages and then alter them - usually by adding space noises and playing several songs over the top of each other.
